MothControl Textile Moths (Parasitic Wasps Short Subscription) - Beneficial Insects for Biologically Reducing Clothes and Textile Moths
MothControl offers a biological solution to reduce infestations of clothes moths and other textile-destroying moths in wardrobes, dressers, and textile storage. The microscopic parasitic wasps (Trichogramma evanescens) specifically seek out the eggs of textile moths, use them for their own reproduction, and reliably interrupt the pests' life cycle.
Once all moth eggs have been parasitized and no more food is available, the beneficial insects die off or break down into microscopic dust.
Contents and Delivery
Contents: 6 consecutive deliveries at 2-week intervals cover the entire multi-week egg-laying cycle of the clothes moth completely.
1 card is enough for a shelf 1 meter wide or a closed cabinet compartment.
Each card has about 2000 tiny eggs in different stages of development on it.
Beneficial species: Trichogramma evanescens (parasitic wasps)
Usage area: Wardrobes, closets, chests, drawers, and textile storage
Subscription process: The short subscription includes a total of 12 weeks of care and ends automatically after the sixth delivery.
Usage and Procedure
1. After placing your order, you will receive the first delivery of fresh parasitoid wasp cards (shipping always takes place at the beginning of the following week).
2. Hang the cards directly on hangers or lay them flat between folded clothes in drawers and compartments.
3. The next 5 deliveries will arrive automatically every 2 weeks.
4. Usage tip: Do not use insecticides or repellent scents in the same wardrobe section during the release of beneficial insects, as these can also affect the parasitoid wasps.
Storage and Shipping Information
The cards contain live beneficial insects and should be placed at the locations of use immediately after receipt. Do not store or delay deployment. Completely harmless for people, children, and pets.
